Vial Concentration: 0.5 (lot specific)
Preparation and Storage
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8 degree C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20 degree C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-shha antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-shha antibody
Intercellular signal essential for a variety of patterning events during development. Signal produced by the notochord that induces somite patterning, dorso-ventral patterning of the brain and early patterning of the developing eyes. Displays floor plate-inducing activity. Binds to the patched (PTC) receptor, which functions in association with smoothened (SMO), to activate the transcription of target genes. In the absence of SHH, PTC represses the constitutive signaling activity of SMO (By similarity).

Western Blot (WB) of anti-shha antibody
Shha Antibody (Center) western blot analysis in zebrafish brain tissue lysate (35ug/lane). This demonstrates that the (DANRE) shha antibody detected zebrafish shha protein (arrow).

1. We further demonstrate that the elevated Hedgehog signaling in Sox11-deficient zebrafish was caused by a large increase in shha transcription; indeed, suppressing Shha expression rescued the ocular phenotypes of sox11 morphants.
