If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-HCRTR2 antibody
Description: The protein encoded by this gene is a G-protein coupled receptor involved in the regulation of feeding behavior. The encoded protein binds the hypothalamic neuropeptides orexin A and orexin B. A related gene (HCRTR1) encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that selectively binds orexin A.
Function: Nonselective, high-affinity receptor for both orexin-A and orexin-B neuropeptides (PubMed:9491897, PubMed:26950369). Triggers an increase in cytoplasmic Ca2+ levels in response to orexin-A binding (PubMed:9491897, PubMed:26950369).
Similarity: The N-terminal region is required for orexin signaling. Belongs to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family.
Applications Tested/Suitable for anti-HCRTR2 antibody
