Supplied as a liquid in PBS, 0.09% sodium azide, 1% BSA. Labeled with FITC.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-HCRTR2 antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
anti-HCRTR2 antibody
In humans CD200R is expressed primarily by peripheral blood monocytes and neutrophils but also by other leukocytes including T-lymphocytes and mast cells (1). Studies suggest that CD200-CD200R interaction may be involved in the control of myeloid cellular function.

NCBI Summary for HCRTR2
The protein encoded by this gene is a G-protein coupled receptor involved in the regulation of feeding behavior. The encoded protein binds the hypothalamic neuropeptides orexin A and orexin B. A related gene (HCRTR1) encodes a G-protein coupled receptor that selectively binds orexin A. [provided by RefSeq, Jan 2009]
