2.5 mg/ml (lot specific)
Biological Significance
Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), also known as poly-aromatic hydrocarbons or polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons, are potent atmospheric pollutants that consist of fused aromatic rings and do not contain heteroatoms or carry substituents. Naphthalene is the simplest example of a PAH. PAHs occur in oil, coal, and tar deposits, and are produced as byproducts of fuel burning (whether fossil fuel or biomass).
Immunogen
PAH antibody (FITC) was raised in mouse using polyaromatic hydrocarbons as the immunogen.
Preparation and Storage
Store at 4 degree C for short term storage. Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for long term storage. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.
Other Notes
Small volumes of anti-PAH antibody vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.

NCBI Summary for PAH
PAH encodes the enzyme phenylalanine hydroxylase that is the rate-limiting step in phenylalanine catabolism. Deficiency of this enzyme activity results in the autosomal recessive disorder phenylketonuria. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
UniProt Comments for PAH
