MBS8244581 is a ready-to-use microwell, strip-or-full plate ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) Kit for analyzing the presence of the Mesothelin (MSLN) ELISA Kit target analytes in biological samples. The concentration gradients of the kit standards or positive controls render a theoretical kit detection range in biological research samples containing MSLN. The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS8244581 kit is based on MSLN antibody-MSLN antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect MSLN antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, MSLN. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. Quality control assays assessing reproducibility identified the intra-assay CV (%) and inter-assay CV(%).

Principle of the Assay||The Human Mesothelin ELISA (Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay) kit is an in vitro enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for the quantitative measurement of Human Mesothelin in Cell Culture Supernatants, Serum, Plasma, Urine. This assay employs an antibody specific for Human Mesothelin coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and Mesothelin present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-Human Mesothelin antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mesothelin bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.
