The ELISA analytical biochemical technique of the MBS9307406 kit is based on IL22Ra2 antibody-IL22Ra2 antigen interactions (immunosorbency) and an HRP colorimetric detection system to detect IL22Ra2 antigen targets in samples. The ELISA Kit is designed to detect native, not recombinant, IL22Ra2. Appropriate sample types may include undiluted body fluids and/or tissue homogenates, secretions. This gene encodes a member of the class II cytokine receptor family. The encoded soluble protein specifically binds to and inhibits interleukin 22 activity by blocking the interaction of interleukin 22 with its cell surface receptor. The encoded protein may be important in the regulation of inflammatory response, and has been implicated in the regulation of tumorigenesis in the colon.
