11.72-3000pg/mL
Application
Chemiluminescent immunoassay for Antigen Detection.
Intra-assay Precision (Precision within an assay)
3 samples with low, middle and high level Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) were tested 20 times on one plate, respectively.
Inter-assay Precision (Precision between assays)
3 samples with low, middle and high level Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) were tested on 3 different plates, 8 replicates in each plate.
Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
ISO Certification
Manufactured in an ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 Certified Laboratory.
Supply Chain Verification
Manufactured in a lab with traceable raw materials. Bulk orders can typically be prepared to the customera??s specifications, please inquire.
Product Note
Select online data sheet information is drawn from bioinformatics databases, occasionally resulting in ambiguous or non-relevant product information. It is the responsibility of the customer to review, verify, and evaluate the information to make sure it matches their requirements before purchasing the kit. Our ELISA Kit assays are dynamic research tools and sometimes they may be updated and improved. If the format of this assay is important to you then please request the current manual or contact our technical support team with a presales inquiry before placing an order. We will confirm the current details of the assay. We cannot guarantee the sample manual posted online is the most current manual.
Other Notes
Small volumes of ACTH clia kit vial(s) may occasionally become entrapped in the seal of the product vial during shipment and storage. If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
ACTH clia kit
The microplate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with a monoclonal antibody specific to Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH). A competitive inhibition reaction is launched between biotin labeled Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) and unlabeled Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) (Standards or samples) with the pre-coated antibody specific to Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH). After incubation the unbound conjugate is washed off. Next, avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. The amount of bound HRP conjugate is reverse proportional to the concentration of Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) in the sample. Then the mixture of substrate A and B is added to generate glow light emission kinetics. Upon plate development, the intensity of the emitted light is reverse proportional to the Adrenocorticotropic Hormone (ACTH) level in the sample or standard.

NCBI Summary for ACTH
This gene encodes a polypeptide hormone precursor that undergoes extensive, tissue-specific, post-translational processing. Processing yields several
biologically active peptides, which are involved in diverse cellular functions, such as energy homeostasis, steroidogenesis, and increased melanin production in melanocytes. In mouse deficiency of this gene is associated with obesity, defects in adrenal development, and altered pigmentation. A pseudogene of this gene is located on chromosome 19. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2013]
UniProt Comments for ACTH
POMC: ACTH stimulates the adrenal glands to release cortisol. Defects in POMC may be associated with susceptibility to obesity (OBESITY). It is a condition characterized by an increase of body weight beyond the limitation of skeletal and physical requirements, as the result of excessive accumulation of body fat. Defects in POMC are the cause of pro-opiomelanocortinin deficiency (POMCD). Affected individuals present early-onset obesity, adrenal insufficiency and red hair. Belongs to the POMC family.
Protein type: Secreted; Secreted, signal peptide
Cellular Component: extracellular space; peroxisomal matrix; cytoplasm; extracellular region; secretory granule
Molecular Function: type 3 melanocortin receptor binding; G-protein-coupled receptor binding; type 4 melanocortin receptor binding; hormone activity; receptor binding
Biological Process: generation of precursor metabolites and energy; cell-cell signaling; neuropeptide signaling pathway; regulation of blood pressure; regulation of appetite; positive regulation of transcription from RNA polymerase II promoter; negative regulation of tumor necrosis factor production; glucose homeostasis; signal transduction; cellular pigmentation
