Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection limit dilution 1: 64000.
Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 75kDa band in Mouse and Rat Brain and Spinal Cord lysates after 0.3ug/ml antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 107kDa according to NP_038866.2. The 75kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.

Expressed primarily in placenta, lung, spleen, ovary and small intestine. Expressed in podocytes and is a component of the glomerular slit diaphragm. Belongs to the transient receptor (TC 1.A.4) family. STrpC subfamily. TRPC6 sub-subfamily. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
