If necessary, briefly centrifuge the vial on a tabletop centrifuge to dislodge any liquid in the container`s cap. Certain products may require to ship with dry ice and additional dry ice fee may apply.
Related Product Information for
CCL26 recombinant protein
CCL26 is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as thymus and activation regulated chemokine (TARC). This protein is involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. It is expressed constitutively in thymus, but only transiently in phytohemagglutinin-stimulated peripheral blood mononuclear cells. It specifically binds and induces chemotaxis in T cells and elicits its effects by interacting with the chemokine receptor CCR4. CCL26, expressed in E. coli and purifed by conventional chromatography, after refolding of the isolated inclusion bodies in a renaturation buffer.

NCBI Summary for CCL26
This gene is one of two Cys-Cys (CC) cytokine genes clustered on the q arm of chromosome 7. Cytokines are a family of secreted proteins involved in immunoregulatory and inflammatory processes. The CC cytokines are proteins characterized by two adjacent cysteines. The cytokine encoded by this gene displays chemotactic activity for normal peripheral blood eosinophils and basophils. The product of this gene is one of three related chemokines that specifically activate chemokine receptor CCR3. This chemokine may contribute to the eosinophil accumulation in atopic diseases.
